Hawaii: High Surf Advisory for East Facing Shores

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a High Surf Advisory for east-facing shores of the Hawaiian Islands, effective from 6AM Tuesday until 6AM Wednesday.

The combination of a northern swell along with breezy trade winds will cause 6 to 10 ft surf along east facing shores of Niihau, Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Maui, and the Big Island.

Strong rip currents are expected along with rough and choppy surf.
