Pacifist Cannabis minister Reverend Roger Christie has been held without bail at the Honolulu Federal Detention Center since July 8, 2010. He's been denied bail 7 times. His trial on federal drug trafficking charges has been set back to September 23, 2013.

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has extended a High Surf Advisory through 6AM HST Friday.
Winds will remain strong enough to bring rough surf and rip currents along east facing shores through early Friday morning. Windward shores of Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Maui, and the Big Island can expect surf 6 to 8 feet.
